Corporate Governance
Mr. Vemana is a dynamic leader with 16 years of proven experience in delivering large-scale programs and managing corporate operations. Before joining IC Sciences, Mr. Vemana led business operations and engineering organization at CellExchange with more than 100 staff engineers delivering numerous programs for the US Department of Defense. His team developed innovative solutions for the US DoD using Service Oriented Architecture and Web Services to implement business process automation and to integrate various legacy systems and achieved SEI CMMi level 2 certification under his leadership. Prior to CellExchange, he led global engineering teams to develop clinical decision support systems with HL7 integration, college savings programs to manage more than one billion dollars in assets, and B2B integrations.
Mr. Vemana has a strong passion for innovation, technology and business strategy. He believes in Agile methodologies to aid rapid application development and the required process discipline to develop scalable teams.
Mr. Vemana holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from University of Madras. Mr. Vemana is married and has two children.
